♑ Capricorn dogs
Capricorn dog horoscope this week
The week of 2–8 November for Capricorn dogs (birthdays 22 December – 19 January), read from the real sky: where the Sun, Moon and planets are, and what that brings out in them. A new one every Monday.
Week of 2–8 November
Mind the sofa etiquette: Capricorn dogs are double-checking every plan this week
This week's sky: all week · Mercury is retrograde (24 October – 13 November)
Mercury is retrograde (24 October – 13 November), and it hands Capricorn dogs a reason to be even more careful than usual. Your Capricorn waits politely beside the sofa, ignoring the tempting cushion until a proper invitation comes. Ruled by Saturn, the Sea-Goat believes in doing things in the right order, and a retrograde Mercury only makes your Capricorn more certain that the invitation should be clear, unhurried and said twice. Once the nod arrives, up they climb with great dignity.
Capricorn dogs hold their dignity and their patience, and every small ritual feels worth getting exactly right.

Week of 19–25 October
With the Sun slipping into Scorpio on Friday, Capricorn dogs take their welcome duties very seriously
This week's sky: Friday 23 October · The Sun leaves Libra and moves into Scorpio
The Sun leaves Libra and moves into Scorpio on Friday, and your Capricorn feels the shift as a deepening of purpose. Capricorn dogs love a job done properly, so expect a toy to be fetched from the basket and presented to every visitor at the door as an official welcome present. The Sea-Goat climbs steadily towards its goals, and your Capricorn carries that same patient staying power, one careful delivery at a time. With Venus retrograde all week, familiar faces matter most, and the gifts get a little more ceremony.
Capricorn dogs find a quiet new depth of purpose, and a favourite toy becomes a very meaningful gift.
