Week of 26 October – 1 November
Mind the paper: Cancer cats are doubling back on everything this week
This week's sky: all week · Mercury is in Scorpio, retrograde
Mercury is in Scorpio, retrograde all week, and it sends Cancer cats back over old ground with great seriousness. Your Cancer is likely to pick the exact centre of whatever paper you are reading and settle there, as if the page needed a second look. As a Water sign ruled by the Moon, they feel every rustle and sigh, and the Crab in them holds on to a favourite spot until it feels right. Expect slow, thoughtful sitting, with the paper as the chosen patch.
Cancer cats spend the week revisiting favourite spots and finding them even better the second time round.

Week of 19–25 October
With the Sun slipping into Scorpio on Friday, Cancer cats take the best seat and keep an eye on everything
This week's sky: Friday 23 October · The Sun leaves Libra and moves into Scorpio
The Sun leaves Libra and moves into Scorpio on Friday, and Cancer cats feel the shift as a deepening of attention. Your Cancer is likely to settle on the highest cushion of the sofa, paws neatly together, and survey the room like a Crab guarding a favourite rock pool. As a Water sign ruled by the Moon, they read the mood of the room before anyone has said a word. Expect a quieter, more watchful sort of satisfaction, with the sofa as home base.
Cancer cats spend the week quietly sure of their territory, watching the room settle around them.
